Wasabi is a Japanese horseradish that is grated and normally served with sushi. Here in North American, most wasabi is just a blend of mustard, horseradish, and dyes The Oregon Coast Wasabi company has managed to reproduce the ideal growing conditions found in Japan where they grow wasabi so they can provide real wasabi to North America.
This lemon wasabi salt is made with Kosher salt, and Oregon-grown freeze-dried wasabi and lemon peel.
We love it sprinkled on salad, popcorn, eggs, mashed potatoes, steak, chicken, fish and more!
You can also as a dry rub for meat, and as a rim salt for cocktails!
